Hi, my name is Michael Partida and I am a school counselor in the great city of San Bernardino, CA.  One of the main reasons I created this web page is to encourage all men to be HERO's to the people in their lives.  You see ever since I started a family of my own I never really understood the sacrifice and dedication that men give to the people they love, mainly their wife and children.  I now understand what it takes to be a dedicated husband and father!!

Since I spend a lot of time working with children on a daily basis both at work and in my home, I have come to realize the great importance it is for children to have their father in their lives on a daily basis guiding them into their future.  This is perhaps the main reason why I started the "BE A HERO MEN" t-shirt.

You see being a HERO to your family is such a great honor to have, to love your wife, to love your children and to live each day OFFERING yourself for their future.  Its not rocket science, its simply deciding in your heart to be a good HUSBAND to your wife, to ENDURE with your family through all types of trials (good and bad), to be a ROLE MODEL (whether you like it or not) to your children and whoever you come in contact with on a daily basis and finally to be an OFFERING to the Lord and to your family giving up things for the sake of your wife and kids.

After saying all that let me say one important thing to you men, it's not easy!!!   You know that and I know that, we have all made mistakes and not one of us is perfect.  So I want to encourage you to start new each and everyday, no matter what has happened in your past you can make a decision each new day to be a HERO or not??  Its up to you and I want to challenge you men to stand up and fight for your families and be the HERO they have always wanted.

I created the BE A HERO MEN shirt for my father on his 70th birthday.  You see I thought to myself what do I give my father for his birthday??  What can you give a 70 year old man that has everything??  The only thing I realized that I could do is tell him that he is my HERO!!!  He truly is, he showed me through my life what it takes to raise a family, to work hard, to love your wife and kids, and to love the Lord Jesus Christ.  I am forever thankful for him being in my life!  Think men how honored my father was to have his son rise up on his 70th birthday and tell him he is his HERO.  I can only wish one day that each of my 3 boys would one day tell me that I am their HERO.

So I want to encourage you men to get the BE A HERO MEN t-shirt and wear it with pride knowing that your are doing your very best for your family and children!  I would love to hear of your success or trials.  Together we can make a difference in the lives we touch on a daily basis.  God Bless You!
