OFFERING = A HERO is both an OFFERING to the Lord and to his family.  He decides to become a living sacrifice for his children providing for them while he denies his own needs.  Even though the father needs shoes for work he'd rather go without just to see the face of his son when he gets his new pair of shoes.  Its hanging in there through his marriage to the end through tough times and good times.
