How many times do you smile at your wife or children?  It's important that men understand the impact they have on the family when they get home from work.  Take time to prepare yourself when you walk in the door.  When you walk in the door SMILE!  Smile at your wife, smile at your children and smile at your dog if you have one.  Men your smile to your family reassures your presence of one who cares for them and sends the message that you have missed them while you were gone from home.

When your child makes a mistake in school its important that your child know what your expectations are.  Its ok to be firm and discipline, but at the same time no need to crush your child's spirit the rest of the evening.  Take time to discipline, but also reassure your child that you love them and that you still want to be their HERO!
